Two Worlds or the Benefits of Change of Scene

Vacations give you the opportunity to experience new places and also to be a new person. An unknown quantity, no one thinks of ¬†you as the quiet one ,the daring one or the loud one. You get the chance to decide whether to explore other facets of yourself in a way that doesn’t threaten the security of friends and family or even your own.

This week I get to play the student. I don’t know how good I’ll be in that role because I am so used to being the teacher. The change of perspective makes it seem like a lesson worth learning.

The class is an art class in Provincetown, Massachusetts on the end of Cape Cod. I can’t wait to be on the ocean again. The wind and waves wash the tension away.Living on The Mississippi just can’t compare.

Rather than send sunburned, sandy and paint-streaked posts, I’ll share photographs of the area when I return. I wonder if I will be the same .
